Question / Offline CFM game restore problem?

Hey folks. I am running an off-line CFM on my PS4.

Occasionally, I will quit a game in progress by powering off the machine. When I load Madden again, it will ask me if I want to resume my game. I was able to do this successfully once or twice. However, the last two times I have tried it, it hasn't worked at all. When I reboot, Madden asked me if I want to continue my game, just as I would expect. However, when I choose to continue the game, it just hangs. I can hear the music, I can see the background, I can see my L1 and R1 options, but no buttons work. I have let it sit like this for upwards of 10 minutes, with no change.

Eventually, I just have to delete the save game and start over. (My franchise is fine, I just lose my game in progress.)

Has anyone else had this problem, or had any luck with addressing it?
