Blocked Kicks

Has anyone seen any blocked kicks or punts yet?And I'm talking like legitimate blocks. Not cheesy blocks

no, I don't even think you can get cheesy blocks this year.

It seems like my AI guys or the CPU gets so close on PATs or punts but are always 6-12 inches away from getting a finger on it.

I wish kick trajectory was more random. Particularly for the CPU.

The kick I saw blocked yesterday, was it bengals or browns kicker? Was kicked so low, not on purpose, that any of the lineman could have blocked it just by standing and putting an arm up.

If EA made the trajectories more varied we would get blocks and we would get CPU punts backing up or bouncing sideways.

Just say that now the chance of perfect trajectory is 99%.

Just change the coding so that it can randomly fall between 60 to 100% trueness to the given (CPU suggested) trajectory. The more elite kickers would have the percentage tighter with less chance of kicking off trajectory.

Now blocked kicks and punts would happen at a much more realistic percentage.

All of special teams in this game would benefit from more randomness.

I had a kick blocked on me by the CPU on all madden (charter sliders) during a regular season game in my online CFM.

I like both of those ideas. We just need something to make it a little more interesting on special teams, because right now I haven't missed or seen the CPU miss anything since the day I bought the game the day after release (kick accuracy at 40 for both). Just a slight little change like those two opinions would create such a more dynamic game not only simulation wise, but intensity and that "fun" factor that would come from blocking a kick to win or having one blocked to lose. Or just simply missing to win/lose like before. I think a lot of the issue comes from the start of the play. The ball being snapped is perfect every time. Add in some randomness to that as well, low, skips, too high, etc. tht would allow guys to get through the line for blocks and/or kickers timing to be off and cause misses

That's awesome! They get so close a lot of the time on me or me on the CPU but like I said, it's just a half a second too late getting there
