Someone please show me how to run the dang ball.

Yeah yeah yeah hold down the LT blah blah blah, but I still can't get anything going. What is going? Why is it so hard to run this year?

I hold down LT before I even get the ball, wait for the blocking to develope, and then hit whatever hole comes up. Nothing. Nothing. Every dang run is nothing. How in the world are you people running the ball?????

Better yet. What sliders affect the run? The only thing on the cpu side is tackling. I turned that thing all the way down and I'm still getting stopped. They shed blocks like it's nothing.

We don't really know what sliders adjust what to be honest. You'll get a bunch of answers but good luck. Oh yeah, and not only do we not know what they do but some are reversed. Oh and on top of that they don't work right unless you adjust at the main page and then import them into your cfm...while hopping on one foot...only on sundays.

What team are you using? It might just be a bad back or o-line that is just giving you know chance. My biggest recommendation though would be to use the inside zone run plays predominately. Ive found much more success with them than the power o runs and dives.

Dont hold LT+ move left stick until you get ready to make a small cut into a hole. dont hold turbo til you get in the open field or running to the outside.

As far as I can remember running in this year's Madden is the easiest it's ever been, the blocking is just unreal. I've never held LT unless I'm trying to evade a defender so maybe that's your problem.

I'm sorry but can you tell me how you can't run the ball? (Assuming you're playing on all-pro)
Because after the tuner you can't miss those huge holes. All you have to do is hit the turbo.Guaranteed 5+ yards.
Don't take me wrong but these kind of complaints forced EA to make all-pro setting easy imo. Before the tuner running were much more challenging.
If you have read the running tips thread, and still struggling, I advise you to try the Rookie setting first.Then work your way up from there.

Don't use the speed burst even if you have a hole to blast through. Tackles suction cup to you then. Only use the speed burst when you're completely in the open.

I also wouldn't try to bounce it to the outside.

If you call dives or draws it's IMPOSSIBLE not to pick up yards..

I'm running with a fantasy draft team with a beast o-line that are all big maulers with McCoy and Devonte Freeman backing him up.

I run Kubiak's zone blocking playbook from the Texans. I'm patient, and wait for the cut back lanes to open. I never run with a fullback, and always running zone blocking runs with occasional stretch plays with the here and there counter/trap/ and power o's.

My difficulty is on all madden with the sliders adjusted heavily in my favor after getting rolled over multple times. They are based off of one of the top sliders on this forum but tweaked a tiny bit to account for the cheasiness.

I just can't seem to get anything going ever. What are you guys doing to run?

If your opponent is stacking the box, don't run. Stretch the field and make them play you honest.

I dont run when there is eight in the box unless I am running my three tight end singleback formation. I never run if there is too many in the hox and not enough blockers.

I have noticed no difference sences the tuner in the game at all and form what i am hearing now the tuner does nothing inless you play online franchise. I cant run the ball i see no holes what so ever.
