Does every rookie that you draft in this game have the same facemask. Maybe it's just a big coincidence with my team, but I really feel like every rookied drafted is wearing the same facemask. If this is the case, it really kills the CFM immersion factor.

Is anyone else noticing this, or am I crazy..

You're not crazy. In fact, I have noticed that EA must have signed a contract with Revolution or they have a crazy crush on them, because in NCAA and now Madden, about 85% of incoming players - Freshmen in NCAA, rookies in Madden, will have a Revolution helmet.

In my franchise that I moved to Houston to resurrect the Oilers, I had 9 draft picks - 8 of them showed up wearing Revolution helmets. Not the Revo Speed, mind you, but the Peyton Manning, dumbest helmet ever made, most hideously ugly helmet ever made helmet. That's what 8 of my 9 rookies wore. I changed that ASAP!

This bugs me, as a commissioner in an Online League, I can't change the helmets with CPU teams. Nearly every rookie has that same giant looking Revolution helmet, and I can't even edit equipment for other teams like I was able to in last year's Madden.

We really need an ability to edit players. The biggest issue I have with drafted players is that a very large percentage of them (apparently) have dreads. I can deal with about 15% of them but a lot of people are saying most of the rookies they draft have them.

Yep, lots of dreads and they all have the same facemask. Did they not even do test sims to see what the incoming rookies looked like. I don't get how these two things get past testing.

Tons of stuff get by them every year. Its mind boggling i know, but thats the way EA rolls. And has for years.

Well, in a lot of ways the two months after Madden releases is kind of like a beta release. OS and other online communities have thousands of players and all the problems are quickly exposed. While I'm sure Madden has plenty of testers, I doubt it's anywhere near 1,000. Let alone tens or hundreds of thousands.
