Thread is titled poorly, as it sounds like your game is functional and playing. sounds like it should go into the bugs thread.

There's plenty of people who feel the way the OP does and it's not just the penalties. It's the flawed AI gameplay and sliders which have been an issue for years. Several people who were fed up with last years game (people on these forums) no longer post and didn't buy the game. It's still a huge profit for EA and probably will continue to be. But slowly their losing the repeat die hard customers. If another football game such as 2k come out and challenges EA in the future, they are going to threaten the Madden brand big time.
