I think the anger over paying stems from the fact that people like myself only would use the ps plus to create an online single player CFM because their stats work better than offline. Basically, it just sucks to shell out $60, and then have to pay for ps plus to play an online cfm by yourself because that received an update and not the offline version. I don't ever play games online and I only buy 3 games per year, so it doesn't seem worth it, even for $29.99.

Well said. I too only play offline so it doesn't make sense for me to purchase PS+. Offline users getting the short end of the stick right now.

that's how its always been though even before PS+ came around if u played solo offline u would have to wait for a patch... but what I don't get is EA said they combined all modes together so they wouldn't need all these patches...one mode one tuner etc was suppose fix all issues so whatever happen with that?

Where is the line drawn though? I know on 360 with NCAA 14 I could download teambuilder teams and I believe uni packs with just a silver account

That's because downloading teambuilder teams/uni packs were not PVP online, so no membership is required. Online CFM is an online PVP game mode (even if you're playing alone, it's still a PVP game mode) so Sony/Microsoft does not allow you to play this without a membership.

It honestly bothers me when people complain about the value of PS+. I re-upped my subscription for $30 last year, and I've probably gotten five times the value of that back, easy.

Which isn't even the point of this thread btw, so your attempt to look like some sort of forum hero really has no effect on me.

That being said, the point of this thread is that if I had to enjoy a part of the game that should properly work offline, but doesn't in several areas, I don't want to pay extra money just to access the online CFM just because it works Vs. The offline. How hard is that to understand? It's upsetting and not something that I expected. If EA shipped the game with a functional offline CFM, this wouldn't even be a problem.
