Re: Game Prep

The menu for game prep is a terrible, jumbled mess.

So I did more testing and was able to replicate the problem whenever I did owner's mode with Raiders... other teams i checked with (about 3-4 others) were able to get the "Develop HB" option fine. I am not sure what may have been missing from the others (if anything) but I looked specifically for the develop HB option and it seems the RAIDERS were the only team that wasn't getting it in Owners Mode.

Saybur, what team were you using that you were having an issue with. I can try and replicate and if I CAN, I will add it to a bug submission.

Thanks!
I've had it happen with the Bengals and the Raiders so far, each with different positions disappearing.

I had the same thing happen to me in the post season.

Re: Game Prep

You can also somehow train injured players and see their XP grow.

One thing Madden never managed, but shouldn't be that hard, is week to week injuries that allow a player to play, but restrict ability (it can happen in one game, why not for longer?) and restrict mid-week training.

Re: Game Prep

I have not been able to train any of my injured players.
The injury system from a basketball game that allows the player to play hurt but with loss of physical ability would be nice to see. Playing through the injury also extends the injury recovery time, play hurt for 4 weeks or rest for 2 weeks and return healthy the 3rd week.

I started an Oakland Raiders CCM (to move them back to LA... and brought Terrelle Pryor back to become a superstar!) and in my Game Prep menu there is no "Develop Promising HB" or any game prep activities for HBs... it's been an entire preseason and I'm on Week 2 of regular season.

Is this normal? I did hire a new staff from top to bottom (coach, scout, trainer).

Thanks.
Who are the running backs on your roster? What are their ages?
I am starting to think that the options in the gameprep menu are a function of your roster. I drafted two WRs in my last draft and in gameprep there are now more pages of develop promising WR. Same for CB. Both of my centers are over 30 and there is no option to develop my center.

I have 2 MLB's on my roster, a rookie and a second year player, with no option to train them.

I have:

M. Jones-Drew (85)... age 29
D. McFadden (75)... age 27
Dri Archer (73)... age 23
De'Anthony Thomas (73)... age 21

NOTE: Dri Archer is my starter; Thomas is my backup... I love spppppeeeed baby.

On another note, in Week 2's Game Prep I was able to get the Develop HB option... figures hahah. So I guess I can't replicate the issue anymore
