Online CFM App/Website needs Work

Probably going on def ears here, but, man, this has so much untapped potential. NCAA had it right, Madden is a far cry from, well, anything, considering also, if playing online is the way they are taking the franchise anyhow.

At minimum, as it stands today, we need to have added

game prep.
scouting.
i can't see my opponents roster? i'd like to be able to do some game prep.
confidence isn't being displayed.

sure you can see your depth via the chart, but why not have it listed, and adjustable?

i can progress players, but all i'm doing is spending XP, i'd like to be able to see exactly what attributes are being increased (i mean, what is the toughness upgrade?).

the app, oh, the app. it redirects you to the website, and puts it in mobile form......

why can't i see team needs? injuries?

why stop there?

game options
sliders
auto subs
penalties

the bottom line is, my online cfm is stored on the EA server. the website logs into the EA server and access your CFM. can't essentially all fields be pulled, displayed, manipulated?

i'm 41, wife, kid, job. we are commuters, smart phone owners, internet savvy. let's just say for instance, when i sit down "To Play a GAME", i don't want to have to worry about xteenbillion activities that i could easily have done on my own time, at my own pace, any time during the day, and then when i finally get to sit down and play a game, i can just sit back, and kick the ball off.

talk about the ability to get users hands on the game, all the time, the hours spent with EA, and the personal immersion into your own franchise.

I agree with you totally, NCAA really did have this down (apart from those annoying moments when it would freeze and cost you phone call hours against one of your top recruits!).

Also, I read "on my own time, at my own pace" as "sat on the loo, in the office", don't worry, we all do it!

Heck I'd build them a new CFM mobile app if EA wanted to outsource it, lol.

The data is there EA. Give us a better interface to be able to see it and use it!

I would love to be able to gameplan in the APP. Not the 'gameplan' mode but actually come up with a plan for the week ahead, from setting formation subs (which also need to be overhauled) to selecting certain plays as favorites for the game based on who I am playing and based on certain situations (3rd and long etc).

I agree, the online CFM page needs a lot of work. I went in expecting to be able to do my prep, change depth chart, etc which was a no go. Even the stats are hard to look at as they only show the most recent games on a player's card rather than their career or at least the current season.

What little we can do is obfuscated by a HORRIBLE UI. But, the in-game UI is just as awful, so it's very unlikely they're even capable of fixing it without bringing in outside talent. It's why sites like DaddyLeagues exist.
