If I fire my coach in my CFM, do I lose all the packages I bought for him? Like do I lose the scouting package, contract packages, etc, and need to re buy them with the new coach?

I would guess that if you are playing a CFM as an owner and replace your head coach you "get" whatever XP and packages the new coach has. More technically I think those things are tracked on the coach level, so it's not "you" losing XP and packages. I don't think owner characters gain XP or have packages to purchase at all.

tl;dr - I think replacing a coach operates similarly to replacing a player.

So basically if I want to keep the packages I've bought I need to keep my coach around.
