Re: What week do you pick your stadium?
I can answer this, since I just started an off-line CFM with the Raiders and wanted to keep them in Oakland. I chose to "re-build" the stadium and after week one of the regular season (@ Jets) that's when I was allowed to pick my new stadium.Dr Death

Were you limited to a certain type of stadium? Could I make the Vikings play outdoors?WHO DAT! | GEAUX TIGERS! | LET'S GO RANGERS!

Limited only in that you are allowed the same options as if you were re-locating the team. So yes, you could choose one of several outdoor stadiums for the Vikes... either standard or deluxe and there are several types... classic, futuristic, etc...Dr Death

Re: What week do you pick your stadium?
You have a few options each of which has a "Basic" or "Deluxe" version. "Deluxe" stadium have mor luxury seating and the highest upgrades to parking, team store, bathrooms, concessions, etc.
- Canopy stadium (copy of Wembley stadium in game)
- Futuristic (HUGE jumbotron and lots of color ribbon boards)
- Traditional
- Hybrid (think Reliant or UofPhoenix style but with the roof unable to open)
- Sphere (fixed roof)Alumnus:

Thanks for listing all the stadium types. Since I only choose open air stadiums, I couldn't remember exactly what all the others were! So again, thank you!You have a few options each of which has a "Basic" or "Deluxe" version. Thanks for the list, great info! I'm just looking to build the Vikings a new open air stadium, I'm guessing my best option is the traditional since it will provide the most exposure to weather right? You have a few options each of which has a "Basic" or "Deluxe" version. Re: What week do you pick your stadium?
I will say this - and take it as you wish - but from my own experience, the best open air stadium is the "Futuristic - Deluxe" stadium. The traditional is kinda blah... but the futuristic one is really cool.
Just my opinion, and since you are waiting for certain things, you might want to do some trial runs and check out each. But if I had to choose - and I have twice - I would always choose the Deluxe Futuristic stadium. It's awesome, it has 5,000 club seats or boxes... whatever they call them, and it's a very cool stadium.Dr Death

No worries. That's why I suggested that he try it out for himself and see which one he prefers! The "Traditional" isn't bad... but it just doesn't have that "Pop" for me, that I think a team building a new stadium would want. But... you know what they say about opinions! =)Dr Death

I will do as you suggested and check them both out. I am more of an old school, traditional type so without seeing them I would probably be leaning toward the "Traditional" but I will definitely give them both a look. I can't wait to see the Vikings in the snow!
Thanks guys for all the help and advice!

I've noticed the camera doesn't like the Canopy stadium all that much. A lot of cut scenes are black like the camera is stuck behind a wall.
Anybody else notice this?Alumnus:
