how does Scheme effect simulated games?? (online Owner)

Im playing as an Owner, my Coachs scheme and my team scheme is the same, vertical offense.

Im wondering if anyone have experienced with how scheme and playbook effect simulated games?

i got a sucky rookie QB and a BEAST rookie HB (91 ovr already) my scheme is vertical offense. yeah i guess its a passing scheme, but i draft all my players after scheme, so both my QB and HB are vertical offense players...

now ive noticed that i run very little in my simulated games... like max 20 carries sometimes as low as 12. Is this because my scheme isnt a running one?

or because my team sux, get behind and then starts passing?
or maybe because my Oline is bad?
