RIDICULOUS amount of 90+ players in CCM

When you did these changes are you still seeing any progression at all?

I saw you said that you wanted to hinder progression, but not remove it. I agree. Is that what you got?

Unfortunately, I think the changes I saw were simply due to confidence boosts.

Can anyone tell us whether players naturally progress every season WITHOUT confidence boosts/XP points? I know they go down, but will a superstar development play progress even if I don't put any XP points into him?

In real life there is no such thing as a rating. A real life GM doesn't sit in his office and say "Ok we have 3 90 rated CB's, can we trade one for a 85 and draft picks?"

Okay, bad example. Prince Amukamara was also a preseason FA that was never signed by anybody...

For the above, it makes the game TOO unrealistic. Every player being a stud? What fun is that? Of course there aren't ratings IRL, but this is a video game. All we have is ratings and a sim engine. It will never be perfect, but I sure as **** don't want there to be 20 franchise players on each team. That's not fun at all.

Unfortunately, I don't think anyone is progressing under my new system with XP progression turned off.

But I'd rather have guys rated too low than too high. At least then drafting would still matter, as not everyone would have a surplus of superstars.

If people focus their exp all on a few players this can happen but if they are spreading it out I don't see it as that big of a problem.
