I want to do a CFM with the Vikings and build them a new outdoor stadium but the owner mode so screwed up I was thinking maybe I could start as the owner, build the new stadium, play the first year and at the start of the second year retire the owner and switch to coach. Does anyone know if this would work and if it would alleviate the finance problems? I know if I stay as the owner and try to build a new stadium I will be filing Chapter 13 in no time.

Once the stadium is done (ie all parts complete) you could retire and become the coach in the 1st year.

Does anyone know if you get to keep stadium sounds in the new stadium like the vikings horn or skol vikings fight song. I don't want tobuild a new stadium if I lose those authentic sounds.

I built the Bucs a new stadium and lost the cannon explosions. That's why I've been trying to upgrade Raymond James. All new stadiums are generic and boring.

Yes it will, once you move from owner to coach you no longer have to worry about the expenses you just work with whatever the salary cap is.

It works exactly as you're hoping. I moved the Jags and did the same thing.
