I just got Madden 15 and am going to start a Vikings franchise. The only question is, what should I do with Adrian?

-Should I just keep him as is?
-Should I edit him down to zeros and keep him on team until contract expires
-Keep his ratings as is and trade him?

Yeah. I might trade him. I think he will play in NFL again, just not with the Vikings. Someone will be willing to have him on the team for 2-3 years.

In my Vikings franchise, I kept him year one (he seems to progress even if you never play him and buried him on the depth chart). Offseason, he's at 98, I plan to "Herschel Walker" him for some picks both now and in future.

I made him a punter and cut him. Did the same for the rest of the "exempt" players.

No point in taking him down to 0.


He'll be playing for a team next year so take him off the depth chart for the year if it bothers you that he's there.

My franchise is my own world separate of what happens in the real NFL. AP and Ray Rice are still playing. There is no right or wrong answer do what makes you enjoy the game the most. I decide my game not the media.

I started a Vikings franchise and thought about keeping him, but after 2 games into the pre-season, (and after the new stuff about him came out yesterday), I decided to go ahead and trade him, and in my head pretended that he didn't live up to the 'Viking Standard' that the new coach is trying to instill in this team, and that there are some things that haven't been made public yet.

To my surprise, it was crazy hard to get anyone to take him for value. Best I got when I put him on the trade block was a 3rd from Cleveland. I opted to trade him to the Jets for Chris Johnson and a 5th round pick. That was the best deal I could get.

No one would give even 1 first rounder or 2nd rounder for him, didn't matter if it was this year or next. I wanted a fast back that I could work with, so that's what I went with. I could get Cleveland to do a 3rd, but they would not include any players, or any other picks at all for that matter. It was odd...

Not necessarily wrong Smoke, you're opinion is you're opinion but the Madden forum isn't the medium to have this discussion.

We have a thread discussing this in the pro football forum and I would prefer to keep this discussion there.
