EA getting lazy?

Just a quick thought !! I had Madden for a month (PS4) before I sold it.. I picked up 2K15 and love it (besides a few issues).. Compare the game mode between the two games..

Madden NFL 15
The Gauntlet
Madden Ultimate Team
Connected Franchise

NBA 2K15
My Career
My GM
My League
My Park

I love how 2K have the different game modes.. Wanna play as yourself? My Career it is.. Wanna be a GM? My Gm it is.. I feel Madden (EA) have gotten lazy, trying to cram 3 aspects (player,coach,owner) into the one mode.. No wonder it gets boring !! Superstar Mode was awesome up until Madden 09 (last gen) then it got stripped down to nothing.. I think Connected Franchise is cool but different game modes for different characters (player/GM/coach) would be much better !! Thoughts and opinions?

I disagree. The way EA did it cuts down on bugs, is more efficient and almost any features added to one player type is added to all.

I think if EA made them all separate modes they'd have the exact features as they have now.

It's really unfair to say EA's gotten lazy.. because looks at FIFA, AWESOME game. But it IS fair to say Tiburon's gotten VERY LAZY. They got lazy back in M06, and haven't changed. M05 was the last great Madden IMHO, and ever since Tiburon got the exclusive license for the NFL, they've gotten SOOO lazy, careless, and meh.

I'm speaking about game modes.. Not gameplay or anything else.. I would would kill for EA (or Tiburon) to include more RPG elements.. All we have is Twitter updates in CFM.. And I'd love a revamped superstar mode.. OR another Head Coach game because (besides some issues) NFL Head Coach 09 was the most addictive game I have ever played..

I feel it, biggest beef is Tiburon not EA. They lost their heart after the exclusive deal.

Although I agree EA is lazy with their quality gameplay, I have to seriously disagree as far as NBA 2K15 goes. It's horrible. And many aspects of it is arcade now. Especially the Park. EA needs to put a bit more into the Connected Franchise Mode when you play as a single player. NBA 2K15 has MyPlayer but you can't connect with other players in a Franchise yet which is ridiculous. Also NBA 2K15 doesn't have an Online Franchise like Madden does which is also ridiculous. So both games have work to do and both games shouldn't be placed on pedestals.

If you're referring to my post, I wasn't comparing Madden to FIFA, I was merely saying you can't encompass ALL of EA just because Madden blows. THAT'S on Tiburon.

Wanna hear selfish.. here's me being selfish, because it's what I want, and it's really what's needed. Madden needs to hit the simplicity of gameplay, NON gimmicky gameplay and authenticity of gameplay that the Show hit 5 years ago (And have only kept mastering since). Madden? NOPE, they can't get their game to play like it should to begin with; yet they continue to throw in gimmicks, game modes, and other things that fail to work EVERY YEAR.

The one mode they make sure works because it's their money maker. They get uber amounts of money from MUT it's dumb, and people shell it out, so they make darn sure that mode works. (BUT it's still using the same broken gameplay that play now uses).

The call me selfish, maybe, reference was a joke from a pop song a few summers back. Call me, maybe, eh, I guess it failed.

The theme to my post was realistic NFL game play, similar to yours, with a joke thrown in.
