Re-signing players...HELP NEEDED!!!
Hey guys I'm having trouble re-signing Cameron Jordan in my Offline CFM. As you can see I'm offering him a little more than what he's asking for in total value, so I don't understand why he's rejecting this offer! Please help!...I also have 5 more players in this same situation.

Re: Re-signing players...HELP NEEDED!!!
The "Desired Contract" doesn't really work as it should, you always have to offer more (not usually just a little more, sometimes quite a bit more). If a player is going into a contract year, it helps if they have the "Predictable" trait unlocked.
Since it appears you're playing as a coach, offer more bonus moneyAlumnus:

- University of North Texas
My teams:
NFL - Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals
NCAAF/B - Arizona Wildcats, Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, North Texas Mean Green
I find it amusing that the OS icon for NAU is 20 years (and three rebrands!) out of date. -
Re: Re-signing players...HELP NEEDED!!!
I'd offer more salary. If you ever want to cut him for whatever reason, you don't want huge cap penalties. And, yes, the desired contract in this game is broken.Comment

Re: Re-signing players...HELP NEEDED!!!
If you really want to keep the player balance the salary and bonus to equal or be a little higher then the desired amount. This has worked for me more times than not.Comment

Re: Re-signing players...HELP NEEDED!!!
another thing to keep in mind is your team scheme and player scheme, I've had to offer players massive amounts of $$$ just because it was the wrong team/player schemeMLB The Show Hybrid Roster ContributorComment

Re: Re-signing players...HELP NEEDED!!!
Having the "Resign (position)" perk helps, you can often resign players for less than they ask, I just did so last night with my 99 OVR QB.
Also, as stated earlier, unlock the players "Predictable" trait.
When all else fails, play around with upping/reducing each value.Don't look back too long and don't look too far ahead.Comment

Re: Re-signing players...HELP NEEDED!!!
Be a little more realistic..
Kyle Rudolph just got a 5 year $37mil contract from the Vikings. I can almost guarantee than Cameron get's a decent chunk of change more than that when he's a FA.
Overall I wish the player's demanded more money in the game..in my CFM the Bengals re-signed AJ Green on a 5 year $46 million deal. Kind of frustrating when in reality he will probably sign a 6-7 year deal worth more than $90 millionComment
