Next gen gameplay better?

Has anyone played both ps3 and ps4 that can tell me if the gameplay is better. I know graphics are and loading and things like that but is the ai or physics affected any. I feel madden is extremely passing and offensive oriented this year. I play with a friend on all madden and we ussually have 40 points a game each with really bad offenses. Will this stay the same if i upgrade to ps4. I have no interest in paying 500 dollars for prettier players and faster loads.

I played the early release on the 360 and now own a PS4 and I can say that the game play is definitely better on current gen

I played 25 on both consoles, and 15 on ps4 is world's better. In my cfm you can have high scoring games or low scoring games and anything in between. Depends a lot on personnel. (obviously if someone is garbage expect a blowout) But there are ways to adjust on defense that can slow or shut down offenses. Additionally, outside run spam is basically solved, even without pre-snap adjustments. The AI is much better at contain. Zone coverage is also a lot better.

Bottom line is you have to mix it up, but if you do you can have some really great defensive games.

Be advised: there are a lot of subtle changes. You will probably get frustrated trying something that worked like a charm and watching it fail over and over again. The game is more realistic, so you have to play that way.

It still has ages to go, but at least ridiculous spam has been reduced. All Madden kind of cheats though, so there is that too.

I debated the same thing too. The Madden 15/Xbox One bundle sealed it for me. Think about it, you're going to have to update to the new console eventually anyway, right? May as well have the upgrade now, even if it were only a slight one.

With that said, I'm used to putting up 50+ a game against all madden on xbox 360, with 10,000 yards passing in a season. Now on XboxOne, I'm not able to do that anymore. Gameplay is great for the most part in my opinion, but there are a few other things that really ruin the game for me.
