Other than that, I don't know what else to fix.

I think Trigger Happy for "good" QB's and Paranoid for "below average" QB..I also changed a couple QB's run trait to "sometimes" but that's me

The 1.04 patch thread seems to have a pretty strong consensus that sacks were down after the patch.

???
It improved the issue a little (seemed to loosen up coverage a bit, so fewer coverage sacks), but I hazard most still average too many: 3.5-4.5/game as opposed to the NFL average of 2.5/game. Among other things, most CPU QBs still refuse to run outside the pocket and throw the ball away when everything is covered up, and the CPU screen plays still get blown up and sacked way too many times.

If you're trying to avoid comparisons the worst thing you can do is bring it up.

One thing that helped me was increasing intentional grounding to like 80. You see, the penalty sliders don't increase penalties, they increase animations and behaviors more likely to end in penalties. What animation does the QB do to get an intentional grounding penalty? He throws the ball when pressure is in his face. Increasing intentional grounding = increasing throws with pressure rather than taking the sack.

I'm looking to re-rate all my QBs and start my CFM over in a last ditch effort to make an otherwise enjoyable game playable. The above post is helpful in that endeavor but do any of you know what effect "Oblivious" and "Average" have on the sack issue and whether or not Forces Passes has any impact? I would think that "Aggressive" QBs would be more likely to get rid of the ball and avoid sacks.

I forgot yes I change force passes too..but not to all..was trying to not change too much out of fear of not learning which trait has the most effect

Re: Is there a fix for the sack issue?

Quick question...

Do you all notice less sacks against scrambling Quarterbacks ?

I was playing all default ALL-PRO but I switched to all default except:

Pass Blocking for CPU: 100
Intentional Grounding: 100
Int CPU:40
Int Human: 60

My last 2 games were this way except INT's were still both at 50.

Anyway, played Seattle w/ Russell Wilson and had 4 sacks. Then i played Washington with RG3 and had only 1 sack. i don't think I've ever had 1 sack in a game. But both of those QB's can scramble. Next game is vs the Giants with Eli but I will update if I get huge sacks again. I am guessing I will but figured I would post about the last 2 games.

Re: Is there a fix for the sack issue?

FYI, I restarted my CFM after changing all QB's to "Paranoid" and to my delight, I've only registered eight team sacks in three games.

At least for me, there's hope...
