Best distance, formation and play for endzone fade/jump ball?

This is a very specific question but one that I have seen in a lot of threads/forums that I think a lot of people have. What distance from the endzone, formation, play and or controller operation/ball placement has given you the best results when throwing a jump ball?

40yrds with a formation that gets your #1 wr in the slot matched up against a safety on a streak pattern. Lead them as if you want to throw a pick change to the wr sprint and go up and get it. I know this is not the fade but it's the best jump ball I have found.

I do like the i formation with 2 TEs. There's a play action power where the TE runs a corner route and from inside 10 yards you can often float it to the back corner of the endzone a full back running a flare route will allow you the easy read of TE first fullback check down and 3 option of scrambling.

I am always trying the fade only have done it once with Dez Bryant and feel like it was more of an accident than a fade. Would love to see this answered though

Eight to ten yards out. Double slant to antonio brown as the deep slant.

Anywhere in the red zone further out than 5 yards or so. Corey Washington, from the slot. Dude's 6'4" and can jump. Put him on a streak or corner route to the endzone and lob a ball into the endzone. Since most defensive backs aren't 6'4", it's usually a TD or incomplete. Just got to beware - bullet passes are easy picks, and the play itself is only a 50-50 shot anyway.
