Anyone encountered this?

Played and won a game in an offline franchise. Did NOT attempt a field goal in the game. Afterwards, I'm checking my players Confidence changes. My kicker lost a point because "I missed a field goal." Anyone had this happen?? Any way to prevent it?

Never seen this. Did you go for it on fourth down? Maybe if you did he lost confidence because you didn't let him kick. That's all i can come up with.

I had not thought of that. I'll have to consider it when deciding to go for it or not.

Happens to me every game I don't kick a FG. Just more Madden nonsense.

This happens to me a lot. It happens even on games where I did not attempt any 4th down conversions and did not miss any field goals. I assumed it was a bug and ignored it, the kickers confidence doesn't really concern me that much.

For more than once, I was checking my statistics and discovered that my DT had thrown a few yards in the game.
