Nope. I have two on my roster and the starter will come out when hurt. Now if your starter and backup both go down, I'm not sure about it subbing in the P/K. That may be bugged still.

It used to be that if you only had two QBs, QB2 was invincible, so you were incented to only carry two.

Now, QBs have no such protection. I've had cases where my kicker or punter had to go play QB. The fact that QBs are more prone to injury (INJ and TGH in the high 90s and my starter still misses a lot) means you almost certainly want to carry three.

I had a CFM once (playing as the Giants) where the Packers started out 0-6... because both their QBs were injured til then and they were starting their kicker under center. they ended up 6-10 b/c their confidence was atrocious after that run.

needless to say, the Packers quickly became even more dominant the following year after having a top 10 pick.

Playing as the Steelers vs Colts, Andrew luck got hurt on a scramble in the first quarter and late in the second hasslebeck got injured. Colrs used vinateri for the rest of the game and he played just like a kicker. Completed maybe 6-33 for under 100 yards. Was a great thing to see injuries and realistic results of having a kicker at qb

I've had my kicker get hurt on a kickoff but he didn't come out of the game with an injury. As for other positions such as QB, the glitch is fixed and your backups are no long invincible.
