Gronk Finds Madden Boring

His video game of choice these days isn’t what you’d think. “I really don’t play Madden, it’s a little boring sitting there,” Gronkowski said.

That's pretty much how I've felt about this game over the past 5+ years. It just not fun anymore. Feel like a broken record, but here's to hoping Madden 16 is a big leap forward.

Obviously just referring to more active and continuous gameplay (COD, NHL cited) vs a game simulating a sport that features something like 17 minutes of play over 3 hours.

I'd imagine that Madden does lose a bit of its luster if one is actually a high-level NFL football player, not only on account of the schematic and strategic depth still not present in Madden but also on account that one would probably want to use the downtime away from football to do non-football things at that point.

Beyond that, Gronk is certainly as entitled to his opinion as any of us here.

I seriously doubt that if I was a professional baseball player in the middle of a 162 game season, I'd spend my downtime firing up MLB: The Show.

Gronk probably finds anything that doesnt involve snorting cocaine off of a stripper's stomach, boring.
