Does All Madden matter in Human vs Human games?

When playing the CPU it certainly does, but for human vs human games....does it matter?

I don't really play P2P, but I'm pretty sure it does. User can't control his other 10 defenders, O-Line, etc.

It was never confirmed, at least not to my knowledge, but it seemed like in the legacy days All-Madden for PvP tilted a bit towards defense. It doesn't seem that way anymore. Even on All-Madden defense seems hamstrung. Far too much emphasis on user control and really poor control layout changes over the years have neutered defense. Plus you had in the absence of double coverage plays and some other factors and it seems like defense in Madden sucks.


Currently, difficulty only impacts the kicking game in terms of impacting PvP games and the impact is really minimal and usually only impacts a person who typically plays on a different setting than your game is - in any setting once you get the timing down kicking/punting is very easy.


I have played a ton of PvP games both online and offline and it seems that All-Pro/All-Madden are negligible in terms of any difference. I wish they would go back to the old way (or at least to the way many of my Madden contemporaries and I perceived it) where defense seemed to play much better on All-Madden - it felt like defenses played with more awareness at the very least back in the olden times...

I play a lot of offline H2H and can confirm difficulty matters. You really notice it when one person is on All-Madden and the other is on Pro. Remember, the HUMAN sliders are the only ones that affect the games, not CPU offense/defense.

I think he was referring to the difference between All-Madden for both users or All-Pro for both users - at least that is how I took the question...
