Debating re-buying Madden 15 again but one major question

Hey guys I traded in M15 a while ago because of the problem with the stats back when the game released, and now I have an itch to play again but I'm curious of a few things first.

Have they patched the game to the point where you don't have to go leaps and bounds making adjustments and controlling all 32 teams to try to get the stats to be somewhat realistic?

I'm talking about touchdowns, interceptions, and QB sacks stats.

SIM stats are a ton better but user sacks are still out of control.

Thanks for responding. When you say user sacks, what if I'm playing in Coach Mode and I don't touch the defensive players? I just let the CPU play everything out. Are sacks still out of control?

They did fix the stats issue a lot, but it wasn't perfect. WRs don't get a lot of YPC and CPU defenders are getting very low sack totals are a few issues that I remember.

As a coach mode player you will have to search far and wide for a suitable set of sliders because coach mode plays different than user mode. The answer to your question is, yes, sacks are still an issue - especially in coach mode, and there is a lot of tweaking that has to be done to get a fair representation of the game.

The main issue with sacks is QB logic...they stand there and hold onto the ball far too long many times which makes the sack count rise. Even if QB traits are edited, it can still be an issue. EA needs to fix the QB logic.

My advice? Wait to see what they do in this coming year's game.

If you can't overlook the sack issue....don't bother. If you can. It's the best football game the Madden series has ever put out.

Armor & Sword and capa are right on the money.

Like you extremeskins04 I primarily play coach mode or watch cpu vs cpu games and the QB logic is odd to say the least. Like someone said in another slider thread, I believe intentional grounding plays a part in how well the qb plays it seems. Unfortunately this slider also plays a part in conjunction with qb accuracy slider in how quickly the qb gets rid of the ball and how far down the field they throw it. It feels like it's a choice between super accurate qb's or qb's with Rothlisberger syndrome (hold the ball too darn long at times). I'm still trying to find the right balance.

To also piggyback coach mode qbs don't scramble or move around the pocket much at all. They pretty much drop back and wait for an open receiver or take a sack. The most glaring gameplay issues are still there from when it launched. Also super sim stats are still completely awful.
