Would you purchase Madden 16 without a Demo?

Recently EA has moved away from giving us a chance to actually play madden before the game releases...I know this may go without saying, but I think it is to protect their sales and defend against people who might play the demo and say "not much has changed from last year..."

Now I am a PC/PS4 player so I don't have the early EA Microsoft access thing (Or whatever it's called) and after the past few installments of Madden I just don't think I could bring myself to purchase this game without having the chance to play it first (at least on launch day).

So this isn't a post about me "Demanding" a demo, but I just want to gauge the community early and see, would you purchase Madden 16 based on gameplay videos and early access impressions alone?

Not just Madden, but most of the AAA video game industry has moved away from demos. Really the only place you get to try before you buy in gaming nowadays is mobile, where the free-to-play pay-for-more-content market is king.

If I were to guess, EA Access is the closest thing you're going to get to a demo for Madden NFL 16.

I posted no, but not mainly for demo. Twitch will help me make a decision when gamers have it early and post the gameplay and talked about the game. That will be the true way to tell if I will purchase!

I'll be buying regardless as I need my NFL fix. A demo will help/hurt how much I get excited, though. The Madden 13 demo was huge for me, I was really pumped after playing that.

Don't have EA Access myself, but the fact that it exists means I get to check out a billion Twitch streams to see if it's worth it ahead of time.

I've never based my decision off of a Madden demo. I'm just too familiar with the franchise at this point. The demo is just usually something for me to pass the time and get that new football game fix during the preseason excitement. The finished game usually winds up being different anyway -- for better or worse.

It's all about the info and actual gameplay vids preceding the release that's enticed me. Last year, for instance, I was underwhelmed and was going to pass until I found a deal at Best Buy and managed to get it for $25. So, if I hadn't gotten that deal, demo or no demo wouldn't have swayed me.

When was last time madden had a demo??? Its been few yrs and ppl are still going out and buying it.

I only buy it because like mentioned before its only football game out and ppl need there fix.

But past couple yrs with all glitches has made me not want to even play the game(restart glitch).

People are going to buy Madden regardless. The NFL shield and its legacy basically sell the game. I honestly don't see why EA puts so much money into marketing.
