Who are your "diamond in the rough" players you have found?

I think one of the great things EA did was allowing any player the potential of becoming a star. If you get a guy on the field enough then they will get some XP. I have been able to turn guys like Jakar Hamilton into a stud simply by just playing them. He had a few picks but had a ton of tackles resulting in a ton of XP.

I like to look back about 5 years of Madden to gage progress. In Madden 10 you had the pre-set potential rating which limited players to a max overall (a C rating meant the highest overall was a 79). That would impact all of the players ratings which made playing a franchise beyond a few season pointless. Madden 13 gave us the start of the current way of doing things, but it was just a bata version of what we have in Madden 15. I know EA gets bashed a lot for the crap they do, but I think they might have gotten things right this time.

Not really a diamond in the rough per se but mine is Wes WELKER. I'm in my 6 season of my cfm league and he has only dropped 2 passes and now has the most receiving yards of all time. Literally I've tested where I just throw a ball in his general direction and even tho he's only 5'9, he finds a way to catch the ball. Seriously I think he's glitched in my game. Everyone in my league hates him haha

Oilers as in you play as the Texans with the Oilers uniforms or did you relocate a team?

QB Chris Polk, who appeared as an Udfa in my year 2 has been a beast. 84 speed, 90 acceleration and good initial TWP of 91. Once I built up his accuracy, he's got better stats than Wilson (one year total)

Total steal and enabled me to trade Foles for a bunch of draft picks

Found a guy in the draft. He's a SS drafted in the 6th round. He started out at 64 ovr i just resigned Morgan Burnett long term but I'm at trade him for some draft picks once I get him to about a 70.

That is pretty hilarious you are using a RB as a QB.

Chris Polk is a definitely a RB, not a QB, and now plays for the Texans.

He just said Chris Polk was a "UDFA" which means "Un-Drafted Free Agent". So I'm assuming he was in the previous year's draft and not the Chris Polk you're thinking of.
