WORD!! That is what I do every time, even when I try to convince myself I won't do it. I have more fun when I do my annual madden 99-2009 (ps1, ps2, and original Xbox) "take the worst team to the super bowl event." My fiancée gets so sick of me because every time I win the super bowl I play the YouTube video of Kevin Garnett saying "anything is possible!!!".

I usually play Player version until I get bored at the QB spot.

This year I was about to start my 4th year after losing the Super Bowl only to find my team did not offer me a contract and no one was interested in me and boom...I was RETIRED! I have reported that to EA and others around here...doubt anything will change.

Have not played more than a game since.

And I was having fun too.

I usually make it 20-25 years, when I know my rookies are not going to be able to play their career. I only play four games a year. Week 4, 8, 12, and 16. I sim the rest and the playoffs so I don't win the super bowl all the time.

i know this was posted a little while ago, but i basically make at least 100 of the prospects in NCAA Football 14 to determine stats/fake story lines for those players

I made it all the way 30 years this past game, but the sim stats "fix" they heralded came about 5 years in on my game last year. By year 6+ it became a MASSIVE source of frustration to see the league leaders in sacks at around 9-10 at the most. We went from too many 2,000 yard rushers to never having a guy even flirt with it. So many ST and defensive touchdowns. So the last 10 years of my franchise were heavily simmed because my brother and I had lost most of the interest in the highly repetitive, predictable, and broken sim stats.

The first few I do are usually only play one season. I will do 5-6 of them and at the end of the season record which teams had the worst records. At the end I tally them up and choose the 5 teams with the lowest win totals. I then pick one of these teams and play a 10-20 year CFM building them into a dynasty.
