QB Avoidance mentioned?

I recall them mentioning something about QB Avoidance this year - I'm preaching to the choir when I say it's odd being that it's been in for years.

HOWEVER

Something I've always wanted is to be able to move around like this:

Will we be able to pull off Romo's Houdini act in Madden 16?

Re: QB Avoidance mentioned?

My big issue with avoiding a sack is that the animation is so slow that the next closest DL will probably get there anyway.

Re: QB Avoidance mentioned?

The issue with Qb avoidance in this game is that the Qb waits to get hit by a defender to trigger the avoidance animation, they should be trying to avoid before getting hit!

This, also I think there is some hidden code in the game where it triggers every defender to shed their block whenever the ball carrier breaks a tackle (I don't think I have ever broken a tackle behind the line where there wasn't 3 defenders right on me after the fact).

It would be so cool to see the CPU zig-zag and cutback through a defense like Russell Wilson does in real life. I think that would really open the game up.

Re: QB Avoidance mentioned?

The word I want to say when I watch players move:

EXPLOSIVE!

Would love to see a guy put his foot down then explode up the field or make a strong juke move. Really feel like that part is sorely lacking.

Re: QB Avoidance mentioned?

I'm not sure if this thread is referring to the right thumbstick QB evade controls or rather the animations which play when the QB breaks tackles in the pocket, but if it's about the former - I don't think I have ever successfully used the right stick QB evade controls. lol

Re: QB Avoidance mentioned?

Didn't even know that they had a right stick control for evading in Madden 15. This could be the best way to solve the cpu getting sacked issue. Just have cpu qb evasion at a higher rate. Maybe have a evasion rating. That would be nice. But of course nothing I've asked has been implemented but lol I'll keep trying
