I like the game to be authentic and realistic as possible. I was ECSTATIC the year they added RFA. I thought the game was really moving in the right direction the year it was added. But since then the game has constantly taken 1 step forward and then 2 steps back. Removing some of the features that REALLY made the game stand apart from the other Sim FOotball games at the time and not listening to the fans for far too many years....
a few old features that would GREATLY increase the realism and playability of the game upon re-introduciton....
formation subs
Strafing- w/ WRs. as it stands the defenses ability to strafe or immediaely turn and face the ball by just pulling the L2 Trigger gives it a great advantage when trying to position yourself to:
adjust to a quick pass(smoke screen, quick hitch, backshoulder fade etc)
shield the ball from the defender on Hitch/Comeback to the Sticks, or a
to stop and turn to jump and Highpoint a ball.
Defensive Matchups get Height vs Height and Speed vs Speed.
also the ability to call for a Double team would be nice.
Offensive Matchups select Pass rushers to be Chipped/Double
Teamed. assign RB to pick up the blitz inside/outside....

Position Changes allow D-line - O-line switches...(which probly
account for the majority of Pos. switches in the actual NFL)
Brian Waters NCAA/DT NFL/RG
Nate Chandler NCAA/DT NFL/RT
DE-LB - TE/FB (another of the more popular NFL switches)
Erik Lorig NCAA/DE NFL/FB
Tyler CLutts NCAA/LB NFL/FB
Henry Melton NCAA/RB NFL/DT
SS-LB - some of the BEST Defensive players in recent History fall
into this category, Ex.
Brian Urlacher, NCAA/SS to NFL/MLB
Darren Woodson, NCAA/LB to NFL/SS

turning off the Kick Arc is a MUST. Otherwise every FG is made, and just about EVERY punt inside the 3.... I saw an earlier post mention the Flags on the Goal Posts. GOOD CALL. The GoalPost flags would DEF. help give u a better Idea of the strength of wind, and how much effect to account for...

- gameface. I'm tired of seeing the same created player faces since 2008. I know you do not see your face a ton but when it was in M13 I could see it and it just adds to the overall experiece. And if it is implemented...don't over complicate it.
- score ticker(mentioned before but cannot believe this has been gone so long) I do not care about real world sports...in the ticket...give me my league
- Any type of a weekly wrap up

Not a dev, have spent time with the game, I'm hoping after the playtest today they will be able to discuss more.
