Has presentation not been touched?

I haven't been around the Madden forums that much this year, and I used the search function and couldn't come up with an answer. Am I correct to assume that presentation really hasn't been touched this year?

The last couple of years, we've heard year after year that "next year is all about presentation." And every year, the game's presentation still isn't up to par with a game-that-shall-not-be-named that was released over a decade ago now.

The only information which has been released about Madden NFL 16 from EA so far is the Connected Franchise blog. We know that there are presentation adds with that to the end of the XP and goal banners / tickers.

EA hasn't released any core gameplay information yet, however. I would expect any general presentation improvements to be included in that data dump, whenever it happens.

Last year it was in hum v hum online CFM games. They completely eliminate any type of presentation.

From a development cycle standpoint though, it's never happened where presentation was untouched.

Madden has barely made a jump at all in presentation in the last 5 years. NFL 2K5 still laps Madden when it comes to the presentation side of the game.

Any presentation upgrades made to Madden year to year have been modest at best and years behind what 2k did over a decade ago. They've never made it a focus of the game, despite the community clamoring for it year after year. It's pathetic.

If thats what you put in the OP more might have agreed with you. Touched? At least incrementally, for the most part, every year. A "jump" ? every few years, with presentation yet to be addressed/revealed this cycle.

Highly unlikely. That was the same voice who did the pre-game intros last year.

I'm hoping to see that the halftime show/ presentation has been improved even more. Madden 15 halftime show was alot better than it had been in the past, I remember the devs were saying for Madden 15 they basically laid down the ground work in that one, so Madden 16 halftime show/presentation should be even better.

I'm very very happy that they fixed the numbers on the Cowboys home jerseys.
