Well, based on the once-again-over-inflated-rookie-ratings, I posit that every team will be a 99 overall. That way everyone who plays in ranked matches can be even and nobody can every complain about their ratings.

Everyone wins....

I see the bears a little higher like 80-84. Above average offense and ok decent defense. I think you are selling them a little short.

Whatever they are made at, attributes need to be lower over all players ALOT!! Way to many players can hit 99 to easily in there career and let's face it... How many players can really be a 99 in there lifetime. It should be next to impossible for a guy to hit 99, not be a 99 in 1 to 3 seasons like it currently is.

lol Jay Culter is terrible QB. Bears should trade him away. he is turnover prone

Yes in real life I agree. In Madden user controlled he can be decent.

In the 20 years of archive scouting data I have access to, no player has ever been graded the equivalent of a 99 in any category. The closest was Junior Seau, who graded out with a Field Savvy (AWR) grade of 4.8/5.0 in May of 2012. That would be a 96 on the Madden scale. No other player for any attribute graded in this scouting system has even come close. Your assumption, based on my data, would be correct...nobody comes close to being a 99 ever...not even the best.

Why do you not have a job at EA yet?... If they announced you were going to be in charge of ratings for Madden 17 I would pre-order instantly.
