with these new ratings released I wonder if teams will be have lower team grades.

Browns Overall 82

Offense: 80
Defense: 85

Cleveland already boasts the #1 Offensive line in the NFL. Addition Of Duke Johnson to a solid RB duo of Crowell and West will still pose threats out of the backfield. The WR group adds Brian Hartline and Dwayne Bowe with speedy Andrew Hawkins, Taylor Gabriel and Travis Benjamin. The clear weakness for the Browns on offense is at the QB position.

Defensively, Cleveland has one of the best overall secondaries in the league. Solid Linebacking group, and an upgraded defensive line that had trouble stopping the run last season after injuries to the front. The defense is Cleveland's power, and should give the offense plenty of opportunities to gain some cohesion early on.

I think they will be in the ball park with an 86-88 rating. Losing Murray hurts, but I feel our D, at least on paper, will be better than an 80, but not by much. I really wish that a great oline played like it on Madden in general.

I agree with your assessment of the 49er players, but who knows how the season will play out. Many, including myself, would have considered Dallas lucky to win 5-6 games last year.
