Where did you hear its only 7 hours? The PGA game just recently had 10 hours of play.
well last yr was 7 hours but if PGA was 10 hours then you maybe right

I preordered it from Amazon for the discount, which likely means I won't get it until 6pm on release day anyway. But, even if I could get it earlier in the day, I wouldn't be taking off of anything to play it on release day.

LOL watch out wife going shopping might be more expensive than using that sick day

Translation, your unpatched copy of Madden is going to set you back $600.

Madden ain't that serious. If you call off work for what they've been putting out lately then you need to reassess your personal priorities. Companies have to have proven quality backrounds for the day off routine like a Bethesda or The Show.

total bummer but better than nothing! i advise ppl to not look at rosters and features and just play the game... even though thats hard to do because the first thing i do when i open madden is search every menu and detail possible so its disappointing when found this out.

every yr i do my hunt and get the game by at least the saturday before and havent failed to do so yet (I hope i didnt jinx myself *knocks on wood*)

just giving out a warning not to get your hopes up

and trust me as i type this i pray that they will let it be unlimited until release day but it aint happening
For me 6 hours playing a video game on the weekend would be like a mini vacation. I am lucky if the wife lets me play 2 hours a day lol.

Well I haven't had a vacation day to date, so for me I am taking time to enjoy my Steelers in virtual football.Being a Browns fan I understand your view point though.

^ this...

Some of us get paid on vacation days and are not losing money in taking the day to whoop up on the lower-tier teams such as the Brownies

In all seriousness though.. this is a personal decision and there is no need for people to undermine others for determining how they like to spend their Maddenoliday
