Hey guys my buddy and i recently just both upgraded to ps4. We always play an online franchise together with each of us controlling our own team. Do we have to pay any money in order to have online access to do this?

We dont play any games online just the online franchise.

You just need the PSN internet access. There is no online CFM fee
