Madden 2003, 06 (with NCAA 06), 07, and 08 (on the PC).

Madden 2003 on All-Madden is one of the most challenging games I have ever played.

Madden 05, with 12 after that, but definitely Madden 05. I'm fond of Madden 25 on PS4 as well.

I'll elaborate on my post from before! 2002 was one of my favorites because of the expansion draft, it always posed a big challenge to get the Texans to a super bowl in a reasonable amount of time. 2005 was my other favorite. The position battles, and the overall depth of the entire franchise mode was great. The addition of the hit stick put it over the top for me! Unfortunately last gen was a huge letdown. 06 franchise started off completely stripped down and was virtually unplayable, and they added features so sparingly that they got boring within a few months. The year before they added CFM was my favorite out of all of them (12 I think). I hope this gem emulates the ps2/Xbox era as far as features and depth is concerned!

I second this. I still play Madden '05 to get my football fix if I need it.

Actually any Madden on the PS2/Xbox and previous were pretty dang good. After that....:-/

Madden 16 will be the best one as an overall game. Extactly 10 years after the best Madden, on old old gen M06

My favorite is always the latest, I've never played one and then gone back to another.
