Re: Computer using custom playbooks in CFM

OK think I got it up and running!

Question:
Do sliders work the same? Or are both teams now going off user sliders?

I'm not sure about the sliders. But I assume the ones that are used are the ones you import into franchise, which should be from your main profile being the CFM is loaded and saved from that profile

Will be playing 49ers/Eagles shortly. Found a couple of interesting looking Philly playbooks. I expect a lot of screens.

That also gives you the ability to change uni for CPU team too, yes?

I would think so being you have control of the cpu profile

Re: Computer using custom playbooks in CFM

I think I figured out something big. (Might also explain why the Arizona CPU ran on you so much):

When editing a playbook, make sure all of the situationals are filled out (1st down, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, red zone, 2 min offense, etc).

I just downloaded an awesome playbook but when I played against the CPU, they ran the ball in a lot of stupid situations.

Pulled up the playbook and sure enough, they had only a few run plays here and there for most of their situations...even 3rd and long!

Testing now to see if the CPU passes more.

Re: Computer using custom playbooks in CFM

I edited the Philly playbook. Got rid a lot of the zone runs by giving them a half of star. Then increased stars of more passing plays. Everything works great, until the computer attempts to throw a mid to deep pass and most of the time gets sacked. It's annoying. The 25th can't come soon enough. I don't care if 16 is very much like 15, just with less bugs and tighter gameplay.

Yeah that's what you have to do. Edit the playbook you want the computer to use by going through the gameplan and adding or subtracting stars of the plays you would like to see more or less of.
