Re: Mut poll question?

I can't stand MUT, but I would never call it gambling or harmful to children

Re: Mut poll question?

No. You don't HAVE to spend money (although it's obviously harder). It's just like paying a pokemon, magic, TOPPS, and any other phyiscal packs out there. I don't buy them so I don't know how many are out there

HOWEVER, it does increase financial distress their families. Heard of that family that had son spend thousands of dollars on micro transactions on FIFA lol.

Plus you can set a profile, so they can't purchase items or you just don't put a card on the account.

I do wish it was a separate entity and did not take away from the Madden base game though.

Re: Mut poll question?

The question I have for the OP, is, how do you arrive at the question?

Gambling is wagering on the outcome of something. IE, betting 5 dollars on who will win the Super Bowl.

have you played MUT? There is no wagering on anything in the game mode. You can buy packs if you want to, and there are chances to pull good cards, so you are risking money that may or may not pay off for you, but its not gambling.

Re: Mut poll question?

You can risk coins. So that may be a form of gambling. You don't get a financial return on your investment just more coins to use in that mode. That would be the equivalent of going to a casino and paying real money and winning chips that only allow you the benefit to keep playing at that casino.

This is not a test.
