I haven't blocked a field goal or XP in so long I forgot but if memory serves me right I think it was one of the ps2 gen maddens. Lol

Never blocked one..I saw the CPU do it in a CPU v CPU game, in M25

Let's just say never. There was ways last year, but they'd just run off the edge.

Special teams is THE most overlooked (and under developed) aspect of madden, imo. Kick left, middle, right. Return left, middle, right. Plays have much more depth then that devs.

Madden 13 in an online league in the super bowl. Me (Seahawks) and my buddy (Steelers)

He blocked it in the second quarter, and ended up winning by one so it lost me a Super Bowl.

hasn't happened on next gen, I'd say in the last 5 years it has happened about 3-5 times, each one somehow my defender got in front of the ball( no awareness of course of his surroundings) and it hit him in the helmet.


I can't even take credit because it was really the CPU controlling the clueless player.

I blocked one last year during EA Access but could never do it again after that. My cpu defender came through the middle unblocked and dove at it.

The last time was in whichever Madden it was some years back where every time you or the CPU called a timeout or kicked a FG after a clock stoppage, the FG would be blocked. That was a pretty bad bug.

I blocked one in 15 against raiders was long fg got my hand up from my DT.... Only time i've done it.

Madden 13...If I remember correctly this happened too often and had to end up being patched..
