They did the Cardinals dirty to have them lose in the Superbowl to the Steelers on a last play fade route, again.

If you don't want to waste your EA Access time on this, you can successfully quit as soon as it gets to actual game play. Just a heads up for those who worry about losing game play time.

Would be nice if EA would give Access players an extra hour for watching the intro and playing through....

I do see some of the reasons behind it, to introduce some game play mechanics and build the atmosphere...

This years version of the intro is improved from last years..

Just didn't like wasting my Access time on it..

It's not about them wasting time for your EA Access, this is just the game, man. Just be glad they upped it from 6 to 10 hours.

The real question is, why are the Cardinals throwing on 1st and 10 with 2:20 left up two scores when the Steelers only have 1 timeout.

I wish I knew that you could quit once you actually take control of the game. I had to look away when the game ended so as to not be spoiled by anything. I still don't like the fact that they included the SB in the intro, should be a bit more special. Instead, I would like for 17's intro to be something in training camp, perhaps by teaming up with Hard Knocks. This way they can show that the game is being built upon the fundamentals of football rather than the stunning highlight reels that only the elite players can produce.

Yeah it would be really cool if they did a piece from the combine to the draft, training camp, then end it with them getting a start in the NFL or something. IDK, but there is a lot of cool production things they could do. Either way, I liked both last year's and this year's prologues.

Overall it looked really cool. That last play was pretty sloppy though. Instead of Patrick Peterson trying to attack the ball while its in the air, he just ran away from it. Legacy issues like this, although not nearly as frustrating as in years past based on the vids ive seen, are still pretty game impacting. This the second year in a row EA has done a presentation like this. It kinda boggles my mind how they spend time and effort working on this but the presentation for the actual CFM games and superbowl isnt nearly as good as this

Yeah that was definitely awkward and concerning AI. I edited out first and second down where PP21 dropped two picks trying to make the Cardinals win. I ended up playing it again later and having a perfect fade in the back corner of the end zone in a jump ball.

Anyone notice that the touchdown was scored in the steelers end zone, but the celebration clip is in the cardinals end zone. The frustrating thing about this oversight is that they took the time to make this whole opening sequence and still made a mistake like that. I'm still going to get the game and will play the heck out of it, but their attention to detail really has to improve.

The Prologue was the slowest, most boring, over filled with cut scenes thing ever. How dare EA make me play as the steelers. I did however enjoy allowing the Cardinals to win the Superbowl.

Yeah im pretty sure its designed so that the Steelers win the game pretty much no matter what instead of you actually having to strategically find a way to defeat the Cardinals. Im pretty sure someone in the forums said that the Cardinals won in his game though

Yeah I'm sure if you just failed in other aspects like turnover on downs or not intercepting it, you could flip the outcome.
