How is Jimmy G. from the Patriots a free agent after one year? He's under contract for 3 more years in real life. Is he not under a 4 year total contract in Madden 16? Unless released by the computer, that would be madness!

I know Dez' contract was messed up because I had to resign him. He should have been in his new deal. Maybe they messed up some of that. Hope it gets fixed when the game comes out.

They should be able to update contracts with roster updates, they've done it in the past. The shipped rosters most likely date back to 2 months ago, NE kicker prob. doesn't have his new contract either. I'm guessing of course because I don't have the game yet.

Hoping they get a roster update out ASAP and than when teams drop to 53 men. I wonder if they are going to do weekly roster updates like they did last year too.

According to his ESPN, NFL.com and Dolphins.com profiles he is 5'10 224. Most teams do fudge the numbers on height/weight but really the only thing for the dev's to go by is their weights from the NFL.

Without knowing what happened during the Pats season it's tough to say what happened. Could be a salary cap crunch, they could have signed or traded for someone the game thinks is a better backup. Or it could be a pre-programmed Belichick move (kidding), do we ever know what he is going to do?
