How are building your team? Madden 16 Edition

I plan on building and writing a dynasty when I start my Madden franchise. I have a couple ideas on how I'd like to build my team and I'd like to hear all of yours!

I plan on running a 32 team cfm and mainly focusing on the Steelers and one other team depending on who seems fun to rebuild. I usually try to make sure any ex cfl players on the roster make it to a team. Not going to lie I'm excited for Tim Tebow to be back on the roster!

I think I'm going to take one last shot at the Superbowl before Witten and Romo retire, then start a full rebuild. Dez will help the new quarterback adjust, and if Sean Lee gets injured again I might have to cut him. Maybe I'll try and sign RG3 and try a Texas redemption.

since CFM is a bug filled disaster, i am building the NY Knicks on nba 2k when it releases...

I'll have 3...

1st, day one, will be a Fantasy Draft with the Jets. (Wanted a team that doesn't have a big championship background, isn't relevant today, with a good arena, that I don't despise. Came down to the Jets and Bucs, went with the Jets cause I run 3-4 only and don't wanna take away from the history of Tampa 2 in TB) Not gonna draft a QB till at least the 10th round, no OL till the 20th at the minimum (you can build up OL OVRs faster then any position, just find strong/athletic studs with low AWR)

2nd, will be my Chargers, about a month in or so to the regular season, the quest to the SB before Rivers retires. Trying to keep retooling and get younger while keeping our expierence.

3rd, will be my new city of residence Cleveland, with the Browns. (Technically outside of Cleveland, but the Browns training camp is in my city about a bike ride away. They all hang out around my area. Including a post-rehab completely smashed Johnny Football, woo!) Total rebuild here. With Johnny, of course

I'm going to do one as an Owner right when the game comes out. I'm not sure which team I'm going to be yet but am leaning towards the Raiders. I have to do an online one though since that one will probably be fixed before the offline one.

The second one I'm going to do will probably be some time after the season starts and my team will be the Dallas Cowboys. Will see if Vaughan has what it takes to take over once Romo retires or if I'll have to draft a QB.

Yea, I don't have an online connection at the moment, so I'm pretty bummed the game is going to be bug-tastic out of the box

However, since I've already pre-ordered it, I have to try. I think I've settled on the Titans. Possibly Tampa Bay instead. I want to stick to the main rosters and do a house rule of no player trades because it's always too easy to out-think the CPU in trades.

Since the first month or so is always when i struggle against the CPU, I'd imagine Mariota having an RGIII-like rookie season. Lots of running yards, short completions, and good touchdown-int ratio. Bishop Sankey looks like he should be a good Madden player to build a ground game around. Lewan-Levitre-Schwenke-Warmack-Poutasi seems like a pretty good line to have. Dorial Green-Beckham is going to turn out to be Calvin Johnson 2.0 on the game, I'm sure.

Development-wise, I need some star power on defense. Outside of Casey and McCourty, there's not much there on defense. That's what my draft will focus on year one I'm guessing.
