Re: Online vs. Offline Franchise

I think I'm going to stick with offline. It looks like the patch is going to be necessary for a lot of the CFM changes anyway.

Thanks for all the feedback.

Hope I'm not being too much of knucklehead but are the issues that hinder online affecting offline too?

What issues are talking about? If it's the ones that are going to be patched such as drive goals and draft class ratings, yes they are.

Yeah sorry about not clarifying what issues I was referring to in my question. Well dang I was hoping to start a franchise at least offline.

Hey thanks for your answer.

Offline all the way! All 32 teams! Too many problems with online re: connection or "idiots" out there. One can always trust Mr. CPU to play fair and nice.

No problem man. Happy to help. I mean you could start a test franchise like I did. I am going because I didn't play 15 so I have no idea what game prep is and how it works and then all the new stuff they added this year like the revamped scouting system and combine results. So I started one just to get the hang of that stuff. You could do the same.

that's what I did too. Me and my buddies all chipped in $15 for the game to do an offline franchise together. While we wait for the patch I've been messing around with franchise to get the hang of it all so I can dominate them when we finally start it up.

and on topic, I'm with OP. I have spotty internet connection at times here and nothing infuriates me more than not being able to play a video game I paid for when I want to if the internet is down. Offline all the way for me

Since you mentioned it I think that's what I'm going to do as well is a test franchise like your self to get used to the ins and outs of it. Didn't even think of it not having to be permanent. Haha.
