Don't know if anyone else has notice too..but when using any wide 9 sets the two ends either immediately take inside steps and are even slower then "normal" off the line..which defeats the whole purpose of lining up in the 9 tech..which is done to give the end an angle to the outside

Messed with it a little today as well. Having a premier pass rusher at DE is absolutely pointless and disappointing. Hopefully it's something that gets patched/tuned. I'm 7 weeks into my season and Watt has 2.5 sacks.

I've noticed this as well. I dunno if it's because my defensive linemen are horrible since I only play MUT/Draft but they can't apply pass rush pressure to save their lives.

I need much more gameplay time (and a better D-line) before I can state that they are underpowered.

I don't think it's because your Dlinemen are horrible. JJ Watt sucks, let that sink in. The whole defensive system sucks this year. The game is great which is what makes this even more bothersome.

Played a few games today to test some things out, mind you this is all user controlled.
One thing I found is that the power moves are completely useless for defensive ends. If you have a DE with high power moves rating it does absolutely nothing, they still get stoned walled. But power moves for defensive tackles are more effective for some reason, maybe it's tied to strength? I found it better to always use finesse moves with defensive ends even if their power moves are rated way higher.
But if a DE has low finesse move rating and their power move rating does nothing, then this could be one reason DE's don't get much pressure in this game.

Outside pass rush could be a little better...I would hesitate to make too much of a change to it, but it could use a boost; something more than what we have now, but less than what we had in M15.
