Indeed..... BUT, it would be nice if your defense instinctively could shut that play down better if ran constantly. I noticed when I played the CPU on All-Madden it NEVER let me get back-to-back of the same play being successful. Which I thought was awesome since it didn't let me get lazy and just use money plays whenever I was in a jam.
If that could be taken to online and where awareness or play recognition being super high enhance your player's ability to cover it would be spectacular. I don't agree on limiting user's play-calling books as you said... but sometimes you CAN'T stop Rob Gronkowski by making a cut over the middle no matter how many people you send to cover him, ESPECIALLY with the new aggressive catch mechanic. I decided to play head-to-head in Ultimate Team with someone who had him, and their entire gameplan was just lobbing the ball high enough and diving for aggressive catches.
It worked in the beginning, I put Brandon Marshall on him who's a good covering linebacker and then after he couldn't manage himself, I double-teamed him... it was bout 50/50 when he beat but eventually I started picking him off and he quit. I'm not saying Gronk shouldn't occasionally win those battles but man... the game should be programmed to punish users who do the exact same play and run the exact same route throwing to the same guy.
