Anyone else not feelin it.. or should I give it more tome?? Not seeing the benefits of the new system. Seems like alot of unnecessary work with the little time you have in the pocket. Feel free to chime in..

The new controls seem fine to me, but you are right its more complicaded than it should,a lot of movement and dancin to go back a few yards, with shorter receivers making one handed catches over every cb and the down by contact isue making these very good ideas a problem instead of a step forward.

Very true. Where the mechanics do work well are on deeper passes, or passes in the flat. But of course the one handed catches are very overpowered. As much as I love Calvin Johnson I doubt he could one hand grab over the head of DB's 50% of the time in real life for long yard completions.

The only thing I don't feel is when you do a low pass sometimes you throw it right at your Lineman's but.

You really don't have to push the buttons to tell your receivers how to catch the ball. They will usually do the correct type of catch for their situations and abilities. The game plays out nicer in my opinion if you just let the receivers decide how to catch on their own.I don't even use the high low pass controls. I also see less of the one handed catches with this method.
A lot of those extra controls might be good for competitive online players but offline I find them to not be necessary.

Play on All Madden and Aggressive catching will become less valuable as the defense actually defends.

Basically it all depends on how you play? If your the type to just wanna throw the ball up regardless of the situation, these pass mechanics are less desirable.

But where this mechanical shines is in exploiting match-ups on the field. Sure, ppl complain about Megatron; but hell, he's a mismatch machine. There's nothing wrong with a good strategy.

Know your receiver, know their strengths, know your situation.

Feel free to chime in.. __________________ I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...
