And following through on the kick, the right leg gets straighter...

Would be cool if the Kickers and Punters in Madden actually, ya know, kicked the ball. If you notice, they never actually make contact with the ball when they kick.

You'd think by this gen Madden would have fixed that. 2K used to be like that last gen, but fixed it this gen.

That unfortunately appears to be the case.

The lighting however looks absolutely amazing and stunningly realistic. And that unfortunately adds to the problem. When part of something (lighting) looks realistic but the other part of something (player model movement) doesn't hold up its end of the bargain, part of the concept of "uncanny valley" comes to mind.

The lighting looks realistic, and what Gronkowski does here looks like it's been captured live on Sunday with a high definition camera, it is a beautiful sight. Then reality sinks in when you notice his two teammates in the back synchronize walking with the characteristic EA Madden crouch, bent legs, protruding knee caps, unable to fully extend their legs. Basically an indication of tight hamstrings, which ultimately affects explosiveness off the blocks. Kinesiology, the study of human movements or motion. It feels as if human evolution has taken a step back. But more importantly, it just takes the immersion out of the game, unfortunately.

Madden 17 - gif capture from teaser trailer. Take note of the two players in the back in synchronized motion walking with bent legs. It's not so much about the synchronicity than it is about the bent knees, and protruding knee caps.

I don't put much into the lighting of trailers. Remember a couple years ago we got that Colin Kaepernick screenshot and when the game released the lighting wasn't the same.

Every time i visit this thread it gives me eyesores. With a new engine in coming years will they fix this or cause it's been going on far too long. Enough is enough. It is 2016 for crying out loud!
