Equipment Update Needed

As great as the game looks and plays this year it has become suprememly apparent just how out of date the equipment options are. Not only do the cleats and their colors look outdated but also simpler options like arm sleeves stick out as major missing features in the game. I am not a tech expert so I have no idea how easy/hard it is to add these into the game but when your game plays like 2015 its players should not look like 2010.
Part of me worries this will become a feature for next year which in my opinion should not have to happen, is it possible to patch this stuff in or will I be an unhappy complainer until madden 17?

A few threads have been started in hopes of giving the devs ideas about what we want in game for equipment but are closed immediately because its "too soon" to have Madden 17 wishlists. Though I imagine EA has already had plenty of meetings about what the focus/ideas will be for 17. Hopefully we will be allowed to start a thread soon to post pics of what we would like to see added equipment wise. As far as a patch or add on equipment update for 16, no way thats happening.

I know there are some that disagree with me but I am 100% in favor of Madden spending the next 3-4 months fixing 16. Then when next August rolls around, pay 30 bucks for DLC that includes the newest roster/coaching changes and maybe some small upgrades so they can spend as much time as possible working on Madden 17. Then they can just rinse/wash/repeat every year with an roster upgrade, every other year with full game. We would get a much better overall product.

That's never going to happen for multiple reasons. One being we can the updates done for free, through roster share so most people wouldn't pay $30 for an upgrade. And 2, EA and more importantly it's shareholders will never go for it. They won't take a huge loss by releasing an update that will get them only half what they get every year when they sell a brand new game.

I agree they need to add new helmets that came out last yr and the team logo gloves which have been out for few yrs now heck even Sherman was wearing them on cover of 15 but no where to be found in the equipment.

I also agree about the one arm sleeve there's alot of players wearing those again not found in equipment...

I see they fixed the code for RG3 because he was only one wearing one but now he's not either.

What I did was put the arm wrap using it for one arm thing now but that should even be different colors since most players wear different colors depending their uniforms.

I would LOVE to see lip guard mouthpieces and a chin pad option with more choices (the Rodgers, the Tebow, the Deion, the flacco, etc).

I guarantee it will be a big selling point next year. I'd be really surprised if they didn't also add untucked jerseys, unclipped chin straps, slipped down socks, and sleeves tucked under shoulder pads (during play). Maybe they'll even have players with bare stomachs during pre game.

This is the same exact thing ppl were saying for M16 (paraphrasing) "They'll put it in M16 as a selling point.." IMO they aren't ever going to update the equipment. The Nike gloves have been out since what, '12 and they still haven't put them in the game.
