If I go into the manage rosters on the main page and try to trade Dante Fowler Jr. to another team it says I cant trade him because he is on IR. How can I remove this so I can trade him to another team?

Not from the main menu no but when your start a franchise there is a optioned labeled pre existing injuries. Click that one so when you start a franchise he wont be hurt and you will be free to trade him
