Week 3's results vs ATL are going to be a little fuzzy due to Ryan going down to injury after an early sack. Enter Sean Renfree, who has scrambled twice (one for 10 yards, another for 0 but did not count as a sack), and been sacked once while trying to get away from pressure.

Again, nothing out of the ordinary at the half.

I wonder if the scrambling logic comes down to the fact that a user is rushing the QB....like in your case, assuming you are playing coach mode. Since the user is not rushing the QB the AI doesn't "panic" because it is still basing its reaction off of what the cpu is doing...but if a user user rushes the QB the AI makes the QB "panic" and try to take off running because he feels he is about to get sacked...even if he is actually not

Someone also said maybe it was confidence related. I think the best way to test at this current point is time is try playing some mid season games against a non rushing QB...also, be sure to not be playing coach mode (in other words, user rush the QB)

I have a hunch that the problem is caused by the AI freaking out when a user is controlling a dlinemen or blitzer. Perhaps for some reason when a user rushes the CPU AI doesn't register that there is actually a blocker in the way a lot of the time and panics and takes off running?

Nope, I was playing the game....really badly. Not coach mode. I don't play DL, so my skill at jumping the snap/swim or power move had no effect.

Made up for it in this game vs ATL though, 28-14 DAL with the game winding down. Renfree has been sacked three times, all of them looked believable as he got flushed, tried to escape and got caught before he could get rid of the ball.

I'm still not convinced this isn't a pre-patch CFM with post-patch gameplay problem. That's one of the few things that could explain why I'm not seeing it. Since the tuner is automatic with Online CFM, I don't believe that's the issue right now. Sliders are another possibility, since I know so few people on this board play on default. But that's another topic...

lol....I am a Cowboys fan and totally blanked that Murray is on the Eagles when I first read your post...gosh, I need to sleep

But anyway, if you don't user rush the passer I think that is what the issue is (again, just a hunch currently). CPU AI losing its mind when a user is rushing, even if they aren't close

Just read about this in the other thread and what I got was the issue is non-scrambling QB's running way too much? Is that all I should be looking for? I'm about to play GB and CIN so I'll come back with any impressions afterwards.

Week 4 @ NO: Breesus sacked 3 times (one by an invisible player....LOL). He had no chance on any of them, completely unblocked free runner.

He had 3 BRILLIANT scrambles, all on plays where there was no pressure. Each went for at least 8 yards, and one went for a TD.

Next up is Brady and the Pats, and I'm still streaming.

Edit: Brady sacked twice in the first quarter, no more since and I'm in the 3rd. He has scrambled 3 times for 27 yards, under the same conditions as Brees - there was no chance of him getting dropped in the backfield.

Just got sacked for a 3rd time, and that was it for the rest of the game.
