Re: Player attribute efficacy analysis (sim)

Has anyone confirmed these suggestions with more clinical trials or real implementation during CFM? I would like to run a similar experiment for DLine and LB in both the 3-4 and 4-3. I think running multiple evaluations could further our understanding of important sim stats and see how they carry over into actual gameplay. EDIT: Additionally, with the 3-4 defense I wonder if play selection would play a big deal into the results.

Re: Player attribute efficacy analysis (sim)

Any suggestions for how to increase the effectiveness of a mobile QB?

I drafted a QB with 95 speed, 88 agility, 88 acceleration, and 84 elusiveness. When I scramble with him, it's like I'm running with a tree. He has zero change of direction skill. He just basically stops when I try and cut up field or to the sideline.

Agility and elusiveness both seem high. What am I missing here?

Re: Player attribute efficacy analysis (sim)

I am very interested in helping further your research any way I can.

A couple of additions I'd like to see:

- The effect of traits on players.
- STR for HB's, WR's, LB's and DB's.
- PUR for DB's.
- CTH for LB's and DB's.
- An independent study on DE's. My research has found that PMV doesn't do a whole lot for them.
- An independent study on FS's and SS's.

Another thing I'll add is for some reason, the ROLB in a 4-3 (Attacking or Base), tends to get a large amount of sacks, regardless of pass rush ability.

Do you think that perhaps moving the tested attribute from 80 to 0 would highlight the difference a bit more?

Don't let this thread die, I definitely think you're on to something. It's amazing to me how OP elusiveness is, I feel like the opposite held true in previous Maddens.

Awareness for QB's, WR's and TE's, especially when the attribute is maxed out (99).

Has anyone done any other tests on ratings?
